1. Who arranges shipping
- 1.1We arrange the transportation of every Order. We use third-party transport service providers that we choose, such as road transporters and courier companies.
- 1.2You cannot choose the transporter unless we agree in writing before dispatch.
- 1.3This policy forms part of our Terms of Supply, which we give to every business buyer. "Order", "Products" and "Buyer" (or "you") have the same meaning as there.
2. Dispatch
- 2.1We dispatch an Order after we have accepted it, any payment or credit check is complete, and your KYC and licence documents are in order.
- 2.2We aim to dispatch within 5 working days of that point. This is an estimate, not a promise. Stock availability, transporter capacity and seasonal peaks can affect it.
- 2.3We dispatch from our warehouse or depot, or from a warehouse that works for us.
- 2.4We may dispatch an Order in parts. Each part is a separate shipment.
3. Delivery
- 3.1We deliver to the delivery address in your Order. It should be your licensed premises and match your KYC and licence documents. We may refuse to ship to any other address.
- 3.2We deliver only within India, to places the transporter serves and where the Product may lawfully be sold.
- 3.3Delivery time depends on the transporter, the distance, road and weather conditions, and the season. Any delivery date we give is an estimate and is not guaranteed.
- 3.4Be ready to receive goods on working days during business hours. If delivery fails because no one is available, the address is wrong or you refuse the goods, you pay the extra freight and any storage or waiting charges.
4. Freight charges
Freight is as stated in the quotation or Invoice. Any extra charge that you cause, for example by changing the address, causing waiting time or a failed delivery, is added to your account.
5. Shipping documents and tracking
- 5.1Each shipment travels with our tax invoice, an e-way bill where GST law requires one, and the transporter's lorry receipt or consignment note.
- 5.2When we dispatch, we send you the transporter's name, the lorry receipt number and, where available, the vehicle number or a tracking link, by email or message.
- 5.3Keep the lorry receipt and the delivery receipt. You need them to make any claim.
6. Risk and insurance
- 6.1Goods travel at your risk. Risk in the Products passes to you when we hand them to the transporter. Ownership stays with us until payment, as clause 8 of our Terms of Supply says.
- 6.2We do not insure goods in transit unless the Invoice says so. If you want transit insurance, ask us in writing before dispatch, and we may arrange it at your cost.
7. Receiving the goods
- 7.1When the consignment arrives, check it with the driver present. Count the packs against the invoice and lorry receipt, and check that the seals are intact and that nothing is leaking or visibly damaged.
- 7.2Write any damage, leakage or shortage on the delivery receipt before you sign it, and take photos and a short video of the goods and their packing.
- 7.3If a consignment is badly damaged, accept it under remark and call us the same day. Refusing delivery without our written agreement does not cancel the Order or end your duty to pay.
- 7.4Within 3 days of delivery, write to customer@nukrishi.com with the invoice number, the lorry receipt number, your photos and a copy of the receipt showing your remark.
8. Damage, loss and non-delivery
- 8.1Because goods travel at your risk, a claim for damage or loss in transit is made against the transporter or the insurer. We give you the invoice, the lorry receipt and the other documents you need, and we help you follow up with the transporter.
- 8.2We do not replace or refund goods that are damaged or lost in transit, as our Refund and Cancellation Policy in Part B explains.
- 8.3If a consignment has not arrived within 10 days of our dispatch message, tell us and we will follow up with the transporter. If the transporter confirms in writing that the whole consignment is lost, we will contact you about how to deal with the Order.
9. Delays and events beyond our control
We are not liable for a delay or failure in delivery that is caused by the transporter or by events beyond our reasonable control. These include weather, floods, road closures, strikes, vehicle breakdown or accident, government orders or restrictions on a Product or on transport, and festival or seasonal peaks. A delay does not entitle you to cancel an Order that has been shipped.
10. Transport of crop protection products and contact
- 10.1We ship Products in their original sealed packs, and we ask transporters to handle them as the label directs and to keep them away from food, feed and heat.
- 10.2Your premises must be licensed to receive the Products, as clause 3 of our Terms of Supply says. We may hold a shipment if your licence is missing, has expired or does not cover the Product.
- 10.3When the goods arrive, unload and store them as the label directs, as clause 10 of our Terms of Supply says.
